Yesterday we bowed for kings and bent our necks before emperors. But today, we kneel only to truth -- Khalil Gibran

    New Photos Added

    Posted: Tue Jul 17 2007 19:11

One of the problems with switching from a 512 MB memory card to a 2 GB memory card is that one is not given the same timeframe required to upload new pictures. This is my current situation, as I have not added any new pictures to this site since 2006. The direct link to the new photos is here, or you can navigate to the Photography section by clicking the “Photos” button on the left.

This album contains images from the first half of 2007. It includes Ethan’s first haircut, Easter, a trip to the beach, Meagan’s family’s visit, and Father’s day, among other random pictures.

    Law School Update (Spring 2007)

    Posted: Fri Apr 13 2007 10:17

I just turned in my final paper in Legal Research and Writing, as well as finished my oral arguments, this week. For all intents and purposes the end of the semester is here, as exams start next Friday. The workload tends to drop off in the run-up to the exams, and as such I’m only spending about an hour to an hour and a half each day on homework.

Regardless, exams are over the last day of April, and then I have a little over a week of a writing competition that I’m entering. After that I am coming back home to Shelby for summer where I will begin an internship with the District Attorney’s office in Cleveland County. Seeing as I am leaning towards becoming a prosecutor (which, for what it’s worth, pays less than the average manager of a fast food franchise) I am looking forward to the internship.

    Back to School

The spring semester starts tomorrow. I have a test in Property on Thursday, which will be before our first class starts, actually. Honestly, in cases like this, I wonder what the point of having classes is if we are able to get all of the information we need from books. That’s not sarcasm; I’d rather sip coffee and read than have to sit through bloviations.
