Campbell Law School Coming to Raleigh, Sources Say — WRAL

Campbell Law school, where I attend, is moving to Raleigh. The announcement is not official yet; it comes at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.

This has been looming over the school since I have been a student, and it has been a subject of great debate. We are out in the middle of nowhere here in Buies Creek, N.C., and the school will most certainly benefit from being in the capital of N.C. (Although, I can make a strong argument that the school will suffer, too.) North Carolina has gotten a new law school or two lately, and if one were to come to Raleigh (one of the few state capital’s that do not have a law school), it would probably be the death of this school.

Nonetheless, I am well-entrenched here now, and from a purely personal and selfish standpoint, I hope that the school will not move until after I graduate.
